After banner protests at a couple of recent matches the Union Bears have been posted missing from Ibrox for today’s match against Raith Rovers.
The constant drone and poisonous chants were missing when Raith Rovers appeared at Ibrox today.
It appears that there has been an incident in the build up to today’s 1pm kick-off, normally the UNION BEARS ISSUE STATEMENTS to explain in advance their complex thinking.
Against Kilmarnock last Saturday a number of banners appeared around the stadium demanding the removal of Managing Director Stewart Robertson and Transfer guru Ross Wilson.
For many years the Union Bears have been campaigning to have a standing section, more recently they have wanted to be relocated to directly behind the goal in the Broomloan Road Stand rather than being stuck in the corner closest to the Main Stand.
With a Scottish Cup rule entitling away clubs to 20% of the match tickets there were 3,000 Raith fans at today’s match.
Believe the Union Bears won’t be at todays game after the club removed some anti-board protest banners.
