Sunday’s defeat to Celtic has triggered the most incredible backlash from Ibrox fans after three months in La La Land under Micky Beale.

The Pied Piper led the bears to Hampden then bottled every aspect of the match from the moment he realised that wonderboys Nicolas Raskin and Todd Cantwell would get rag-dolled by the Celtic midfield.

From 1.45pm on Sunday the myths fed by Beale have been uncovered to reveal a very troubled club sinking almost as quickly as their city rivals are building under a manager of substance who delivers on the park and refuses to play along with media games off it.

Espanyolification is the big fear, becoming an irrelevance in their own city to a feted and celebrated rival. Some bears fear that they are sleepwalking into that very situation.

The post continues:

People clamouring for a rebuild (seems to be a recurring wish), where’s the money coming from? I fear it’s another summer of scrambling around for bargains in the lower tiers in England.

Renewals will be out soon, get ready for the big show regarding your continued “loyalty”, and how much the club appreciate the “loyal” fans, they use this word so often and drum it into people and despite everything going on, 99% will renew blindly without questioning anything that’s going on with the club and how we are being run.

The board have had a free hit for some time after what happened with the 55 season, but they’ve been dining on that for some time now. When are serious questions going to be asked about the management of the club, the direction we are heading, the goals sought, how we achieve them, the continued lack of success on the park, the stadium in a dilapidated state in some areas, the disgraceful catering, the match day experience, etc.

We have a generation of fans being fed mediocrity and it’s becoming accepted by many (not all, I hasten to add).

Remember when the Gub wrote about the Espanyolifocation of the club? It seems he called that one. Is this our future? Always the bridesmaid while Celtic overtake us in terms of trophies won, European exposure, bank balance, commercial deals, etc?

We are on a dangerous and worrying trajectory as a club and it’s alarming how many don’t even see it.
