In their own little world Steven Thompson is a bit of a personality within BBC Scotland.
The hipster has been presenting Sportscene for six seasons, switching smoothly from his playing days into the studio where his dress sense cuts a dash on the sofa.
Thommo’s career peaked with 16 full caps for Scotland mainly won under Berti Vogts while he played at Ibrox before winding down with stints at Cardiff City, Burnley and St Mirren.

Today, away to St Mirren Jota scored his 17th goal in the SPFL which takes him one above Thommo in the all time scoring list for the competition.
The relevance of comparing a Celtic scorer with a BBC presenter wll be lost on most fans but it is quite clear that after a year and a half in Scotland Sportscene isn’t on Jota’s viewing list.
Thompson is a creep! This part of the country is riddled with them. They’re all after one thing and we all know what it is. Money!
And in order to get the money, they’d sell their souls, their mothers or their grannies. In many cases, all three!
