The makers of the Kyogo documentary for Japanes TV really have gone the extra mile to bring a flavour of Glasgow to their work.
Buchanan Street is probably the true centre of the city, long since pedestrianised it is a mixing point for a cross section of citizens from Scotland’s largest city.
Watching a Celtic player wonder down the centre of the street surrounded by a camera crew must have been quite a site but from, binmen to shoppers everyone wanted a selfie and to wish the striker well.
That forwardness seems to go against the grain of the Japanese personality but it seems to be welcomed by Kyogo as he throws himself fully into his European football adventure.

While he gets fully into life in Scotland there seems to be an element of hurt that he can’t find a place in the Japanese international squad.
If Celtic fans had anything to do with it their top scorer would go straight into the starting XI but clearly Hajime Moriyasu has very different ideas.
At the very least …The guy has the coolest hair in the whole universe !
