Oh Hyeon-gyu headed a vital 81th minute goal to edge Celtic in front of Hibs on their way to a 3-1 victory over the Edinburgh side.

It was the South Korean’s third goal for the hoops but by far the most important after Celtic had reached the 51st minute trailing to a first half penalty from Dean Campbell.

Hibs had been reduced to 10 men when Youan got his second yellow card of the afternoon but the visitors had already set out their stall to spoil the game with injuries and time wasting.

Jota levelled with a penalty in the 52nd minute but it was almost half an hour later before Oh stooped to turn in a corner.

Referee Steven McLean allowed for seven minutes of stoppage time, the hoops took full advantage with Sead Haksabanovic curling in the third to ensure full points and Celtic’s 100% home record remains intact.
