Chris Sutton didn’t miss the target as he called out Micky Beale’s serial failures.

Over the last four months there has been four Glasgow Derbies with Celtic winning three after first footing Ibrox in January with a 2-2 draw.

Coming from Beale with his digs at Lucky Ange Posyecoglou, talk has been cheap out of Ibrox as they make big promises off the pitch then fail to deliver when faced with Celtic.

Fashion Sakala, John Lundstram, James Tavernier, Todd Cantwell and Nico Raskin have had plenty to say in the media but are all staring at another trophyless campaign.

After the match Sutton wasn’t shy to share his views on Viaplay Sport.

We’ll probably hear the Rangers players come out and say that we’ll see the real Rangers at Ibrox in the final game of the season which essentially doesn’t matter.

All this ‘close the gap’ stuff, I mean you don’t win a trophy for closing the gap, there is no Closing The Gap Cup.

In eight seasons at Ibrox Tavernier has picked up two winners medals with Celtic closing in on their fifth treble since his move from Wigan Athletic.
