Kenny Macintyre has claimed that there is no place for Alfredo Morelos in the Micky Beale Revolution.

The chunky striker is out of contract in two months time with a variety of messages put out by Beale on the record at his media conferences.

Even within the Scottish media Macintyre is recognised as one of the biggest cheerleaders in the business, and one of the few BBC Scotland presenters bold enough to come out and admit that he supports Charles Green’s Tribute Act.

Morelos is about to complete his sixth season at Ibrox but speaking on a podcast with Tom English and Kieran Maguire it seems that Macintyre let slip a detail that really should be headline news.

The Rangers Review reports:

MacIntyre said on today’s BBC Sport podcast: “Morelos, I’m told, he’s gone. The manager doesn’t see him as part of the plans. It’s difficult for the manager to speak about at the moment, I know that.”

BBC Scotland will be on the invite list to Beale’s media conference today, it is unlikely that their reporter will go anywhere near that subject.

Knowing that information really should be a news story on the BBC Scotland website, after a petty stand off with the Ibrox club that lasted seven years the state broadcaster is officially back on board with all issues resolved at the start of the season.
