There was one massive surprise when Micky Beale announced his side. Connor Goldson was missing with John Souttar drafted in for his first start since July.

Sicknote has had a nightmare time of it this season with mystery injuries ruling him out until the end of July.

Over the last month he has been given a few cameo roles but today it was the real thing as he came in to partner Ben Davies to face Celtic.

Ange Postecoglou’s side were short of their best which allowed Souttar to cruise through the first hour or so virtually untested.

Kyogo Furuhashi cashed in on a howler from Davies to put Celtic in front in the 62nd minute but 11 minutes later it was comic cuts from Souttar that Jota took full advantage of to put 3-1 in front.
