Cameron Carter-Vickers replacing Yuji Kobayashi in defence is the only change to the Celtic side that beat Kilmarnock last week for today’s match with Motherwell.
The former Spurs defender was spared an outing on the plastic pitch at Rugby Park as the visitors hit top form for 30 minutes.
Two goal Matt O’Riley retains his place in midfield where Tomoki Iwata starts back-to-back matches for the first time as a Celtic player.
With Celtic playing first this weekend they can build up a 15 point lead in the SPFL before Micky Beale’s side take on Aberdeen tomorrow.
Motherwell have been one of the form side’s in the SPFL but lost 2-1 at home to Dundee United last Saturday despite taking the lead.
John Beaton will referee today’s match, as he did when the two sides met in October with Callum McGregor sent off.
CELTIC: Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, Iwata, O’Riley; Haksabanovic, Kyogo, Maeda
