Dave King has ramped up the possibility of a civil war at Ibrox.

Three days after losing to Celtic in the Glasgow Derby the South African based ‘businessman’ was on to his favourite media messengers with criticism of Douglas Park and a far fetched claim that he had turned down an offer of 40p per share which would value the club at £178m!

Follow Follow was quickly debating King’s latest statement with a 50-50 split among the Deluded & Gullible.

Saving the company from ‘the spivs’ in March 2015 will forever be cherished by many fans but sniping from afar and using the detested Mainstream Media to attack his former colleagues isn’t the dignified actions isn’t in the Spirit of Struth.

It seems to be the club under treat this time, not the company.

Dingwall runs everything on Follow Follow with constant access to the club’s leadership. Those comments aren’t off the cuff, if they were the DELETE button would have been pressed on the thread.

Until one of the current board members buy him out King won’t be going away. With major shareholders Douglas Park and King outside of the boardroom new chairman John Bennett has some additional fire-fighting to cope with.

King cannot liquidate sevco, unless he is the registered owner of the club. He can only sequestrate the assets, and the players are classified as staff, not assets. If you think about that scenario, that means that, effectively, he can only put a padlock on the vending machines, and tell Sally the Secretary that she is forbidden to use the typewriter and the tippex. He would be more effective if he told the Green Brigade to superglue the locks!! ???
