Apparently he bossed it, covered every blade of grass and never gave them a moment on the ball.
Facing another crushing defeat with a blunt forward trio and central defenders that create assists for opponents Nico Raskin has become the latest Ibrox saviour, a few weeks ago Malik Tillman had a similar profile.
Closer inspection of Saturday’s action reveals a rather different picture of the ‘influential’ Belgian.
Most Celtic fans would agree that since the turn of the year Matt O’Riley has slipped below the high standards that he set in 2022. Still, the former MK Dons man had a far more meaningful impact on Saturday’s result.
At Celtic’s first goal Raskin appears to be covering fresh air as O’Riley raced away, anticipating Greg Taylor’s pass then cutting the ball back to Kyogo Furuhashi to open the scoring.
Goal number two and O’Riley brushes aside the challenge of the Belgian terrier, passes to Jota with Raskin barely moving as he watches the move unfold that led to another goal for Kyogo.
With the Ibrox summer signings making zero impact the Gullible & Deluded are gorging on the notion that Ross Wilson’s parting gift can put Selik in their place- a task given to many signings from the minute Joey Barton rocked into town with his designer coffee machine.
Final observation on the title winning game.
Pay close attention to the role Nico Rascoine plays in both Celtic goals and then take everything the media has tried to feed us through their cheerleaders.
They both start with him switching off. pic.twitter.com/IG8AUALLpH

Matt O’Riley had way more influence on the game, but they need to feed the huns some fairytale stories about their players
Raskin couldn’t get a game with a mid table Belgian side, that’s his level.

Hes literally their version of Soro. Can be neat on the ball but mentally switches off and offers fuck all going forward.

He was blowing out his arse after the first 10-15 mins. Looks like he’s carrying a fair bit of weight, so hope they persevere with him, as with us hopefully back to full strength, we’ll tire him out quickly at Hampden.

He is dreadful for the first goal the way he lets O Reilly run off him is dreadful! What a player though totally transformed the Rangers team from the last game
