Angeball was most definitely in play at Ibrox today as Celtic’s B team won 3-1 in a Lowland League derby.

The trademark speed of passing and deliveries from wide positions were put to good use as the young Celts came back from going one goal behind.

Home goalkeeper Lewis Budinauckas was sent off after 41 minutes with Ben Quinn equalising for the visitors just before the half-time break.

Quinn showed a strikers instinct to put Celtic in front in the 54th minute with Adam Brooks getting a bit of good fortune four minutes later when his near post effort spun high into the air and into the net off the crossbar.

With the match decided Bailey Rice and Adam Devine were sent off as Celtic made it a Lowland League double after a 5-2 home win in December. The two clubs could meet again with the Glasgow Cup semi-finals still to be decided.

CELTIC: Clarke, McPherson, Anderson, Lawal, Robertson (Murray 60), Kelly (Murphy 30), Davidson, Carse, Brooks (Dobbie 80), Letsosa, Quinn (Cummings 60).
Subs: Morrison, Corr
