At lunchtime it was announced that Ryan Kent is leaving Ibrox as a free agent.

Soon afterwards Micky Beale was drooling over the incredible contribution that the former Liverpool starlet had made to winning two trophies over five seasons.

There wasn’t much of an outcry on line from Ibrox fans, even the Gullible & Deluded have noticed that Kent had checked out some time ago.

Not too long ago soccer expert Ally McCoist was asked for his valuation of Kent, without flinching or delivery with a trademark cheeky grin he replied £25m!

Apart from the twice a year Leeds United rumour there hasn’t been the slightest hint of any interest in Kent.

Despite being English and developed by Liverpool there seems to be little interest from EPL clubs, a goal return of 1 in 12 at a team that enjoys 60% plus possession in almost all domestic matches isn’t going to spark a bidding war.

During his time in management McCoist signed Kevin Kyle, Fran Sandaza, David Templeton and Dean Shiels, none of them survived the journey through to the Premiership which was completed by Mark Warburton after McCoist found the competition in The Championship too much to cope with.
