Beale put on notice as Daily Record Monday Jury find him guilty FOUR times over

Micky Beale suffered a very uncomfortable day at Hampden yesterday, a look at the Daily Record this morning won’t improve his mood.

Most football managers claim that they don’t read newspapers but it would be a major shock if Beale doesn’t have a look at his own approval rating before clocking in to Murray Park to set up some incredible training sessions.

Beale is very much under the influence of fan media, name checking his buddies from fan websites after they had put in outstanding cheerleading shifts to get him the job at Ibrox.

Rangers Review, Heart & Hand, Follow Follow and Four lads are easily manipulated but there are some old school reporters that lash out when their team doesn’t get the result they feel is their birthright.

More than a decade of Celtic success will never be easy for the Daily Record to cope with, the freakish Lockdown season has given way to a very likely five trophies out of six for the guy that they gleefully tipped would be gone before Christmas.

The next five weekends look ominous for bears, Beale is very much the fall guy for this as the Daily Record’s Monday Morning Jury explained:

With Rangers set to finish the season trophy-less, is the flak heading Michael Beale’s way fair?

Keith Jackson: That’s simply the price of the ticket. Beale was desperate to throw himself into the firing line so has to deal with the consequences of repeated failure in the biggest fixture of them all. He’ll have to end this run of derby defeats sharpish or it could crush him completely.

David McCarthy: Comes with the territory. That’s four cracks at Celtic and no wins. It means he has to start next season flying with a new team because so many of the current side simply cannot come to terms with this Celtic side.

Andy Newport: He’s had four gos at Celtic and has barely laid a glove on them. Fair or not it’s the only measure he’ll be marked against.

Fraser Wilson: Not really. This was an all too familiar tale of Beale’s side getting close to the Hoops only to be undone by horrific defending and a glaring miss. The Rangers boss must be tearing his hair out. It’s not how he’d have wanted the season to end but he can only be truly judged after a full season.

When four influential bears turn on you like that a recovery is unlikely. After five months of hero worship at Ibrox Beale might be starting to regret the manner of his shady exit from QPR, English lower division clubs will know not to trust a word that he says with his next job applications.

Will Micky Beale survive to Christmas at Ibrox?

Yeah, I fink so

Naw, I don't fink so
