There was just over 1,200 Celtic fans inside Tynecastle today but Ange Postecoglou went out of his way to thank every one of them as he celebrated his second SPFL title success as Celtic boss.
Back in July 2021 no away fans were allowed into Tynecastle for the new Celtic manager’s first domestic game, a draining 2-1 defeat to Hearts with John Souttar scoring late on to cancel out an equaliser from Tony Ralston.
Since then Postecoglou has won three times along Gorgie Road with today’s success delivering a second title with Celtic winning four of the five domestic trophies on offer since taking charge of the hoops.

Today’s win was textbook Postecoglou as Kyogo Furuhashi and Oh Hyeon-gyu slid in to connect with low crosses fired into the Hearts goalmouth.
Every player has contributed to today’s success but there is no doubt that the manager is the inspiration and driving force behind the story of success.
Trusting his own judgement, without any of his own backroom staff, Postecoglou imposed his own ideas and vision on a shell of a club with supporters lapping up every success of a new era.
