The self declared most successful club in the world have a few more titles to add at the end of this season.
Onto their Roll of Honour they can add SPFL Premiership (runners-up), Viaplay Cup (runners-up), SFA Youth Cup (runners-up) and Glasgow Cup (runners-up).
For the loyal bears inside Ibrox and watching online, last night’s Glasgow Cup was another chapter of despair with salt rubbed into gaping wounds.
Imagine watching Celtic’s hierarchy high-fiving in the Ibrox Directors Box as former Celtic Director Willie Haughey hands a trophy over to the Celtic captain and their goalkeeping hero in front of a cheering support from the Celtic Academy as the Murray Park starlets look on in despair. After battling back from being 3-0 down.
Fortunately the venue for the Glasgow Cup Final rotates around the city so there is unlikely to be a petition from Follow Follow to ban away fans from the final.

One figure notably absent from last night’s match was Micky Beale, finding something better to do than watch Alex Lowry, Bailey Rice and Zak Lovelace playing in a high profile match on their home patch.
Beale was probably looking into the eyes of Championship signing targets but the general apathy around the club falls largely on him.
Six months into the job there is a staleness at Ibrox and almost an acceptance that while Ange Postecoglou is across the city Celtic can’t be toppled at any level.
By 3pm on Saturday Beale could be a hero by inflicting a defeat on the champions and giving home to traumatised bears that next season will be better. If Celtic win at Ibrox on Saturday the home manager better be very careful with his words or he’ll fail to reach his first anniversary in his dream job.

Hard times for the little people and the little club.
