Footy Headlines are trailing another mainly black Celtic change kit for next season.

Adidas seem to favour a mainly black change kit with this season’s proving very popular as a throwback to the early nineties with a very dark green used for season 21/22.

Previous kit suppliers would alternate with a white or yellow/gold away kit of the occasional bumblebee but Adidas seem keen to go with black.

Today Footy Headlines reported:

Footy Headlines can exclusively leak the first bit of info about Celtic FC’s new 2023-24 away kit. It is of course made by Adidas and will be worn in next season’s Scottish Premiership campaign.

Like the 2022-23 away shirt, the Adidas Celtic 2023-2024 away jersey is mainly black. We have no info on the accent colour or any other design elements of the Adidas Celtic FC 2023-2024 away shirt yet.

Indeed, since Adidas became Celtic’s shirt maker in 2020, the Three Stripes have released two mainly black Celtic shirts. The 2023-2024 away kit will certainly differ from them.

The long awaited Adidas deal seems to be proving a winner for all parties with Celtic and their new supplier pleased with sales volumes while fans snap up everything from trainers to a Fourth Kit that has still to be worn this season.

With the Scottish Cup Final put back until June 3 the week before that trip to Hampden looks ideal for a kit release with another variation of the home hoops a guaranteed best seller ahead of the summer holidays.
