James Bisgrove has casually claimed that there are 4-5 million Ibrox fans worldwide.
When you are being interviewed by Kris Boyd reading questions from a tablet you know that there won’t be any tricky follow up questions.
On a recent Linked In Job advert it was claimed that the club formed by Charles Green has 3.4m fans worldwide with half of them in the UK.
Bisgrove seems to have added almost 50% to that figure ahead of taking up his job as CEO.

I think our research tells us that we have four, five million fans around the world
There may be 5,000,000 worldwide that have heard of Rangers but there is a version in Dallas, one in Texas and even clubs in Cambuslang, Kilwinning and Cove.
One simple way to register your support/interest would be to follow on Twitter, with just 778,000 fans on Twitter it seems that Bisgrove has failed to produce an exciting relationship with more than 4,000,000 bears.
With 70,000 fans registered on My Gers locating the missing 4m plus would massively increase Micky Beale’s transfer warchest.
