James Bisgrove is in touch with Ibrox legends such as Craig Moore and Kevin Thomson.

The 38-year-old Londoner speaks with all the assurance of a Timeshare Salesman but might not be fully upto speed when discussing the legendary figures of both Ibrox clubs.

Bisgrove, an expert in crypto currency sponsorship deals, has been enjoying the limelight of stepping up into the CEO role and knows that getting Graeme Souness on board in some capacity would be a vote winner with Ibrox fans.

The former Blackburn and Newcastle boss knows his own value and has resisted the prospect of a blazer and brogues to go with the title of Ambassador for the club founded by Charles Green in the summer of 2012.

Discussing his Souness plan Bisgrove told the Glasgow Times:

Graeme doesn’t need me to say, but Graemeā€™s an absolute legend of the football club. He’s an icon and I think our strategy will be to make sure that we’ve got good relationships with a lot of our club legends.

I spoke earlier this week, I think it was even yesterday to Richard Gough and text with Kevin Thomson and Craig Moore so it’s important that we’ve got those touch points with people that are so, so important to the clubs’ history.

At the age of 70 Souness spends most of his time at home in Bournemouth, the only match that he has attended at Ibrox this season was Liverpool’s 7-1 victory in October.

Moore is touting himself for the vacant Sports Director role while Thomson, without a manager’s job since quitting Kelty Hearts a year ago, is keen on replacing Craig Mulholland as Academy Director.
