Sunday May 14 was certainly a red letter day for Kyogo Furuhashi.

Across two ceremonies at two venues the striker picked up four different awards in recognition of his 30 goal season.

At the main event he picked up the Players Player of the Year, Player of the Year and Top Goalscorer from Celtic’s POTY ceremony.

Across the city he was voted Player of the Year by his fellow professionals in PFA Scotland, following on from last season’s winner Callum McGregor.

Despite those awards there is still plenty to play for this season with three SPFL matches followed by the chance to complete his Scottish medal collection when Celtic take on Inverness Caley Thistle in the Scottish Cup Final.

In two appearances at Hampden in the League Cup Final Kyogo has scored four times, another double on June 3 should be enough to deliver Celtic’s fifth treble in seven seasons.
