Micky Beale touts star midfielder for summer sale

Micky Beale is pointing Glen Kamara towards the exit door at Ibrox.

The midfielder is under contract until June 2025 but has slumped down the pecking order for a midfield place at Ibrox.

With Ianis Hagi and Tom Lawrence returning from injury Beale isn’t short of midfield options with Kieran Dowell the first of many summer arrivals.

Discussing Kamara’s situation, Beale told the Daily Mail:

For Glen, everything is open really. He is either going to be here for a considerable future or we will probably sell him this summer.

I think he needs to look at the competition that’s here in pre-season and decide whether there is going to be enough football for him

As Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent demonstrated if a player wants to cruise through until the end of their contract there is very little that a club can do to prevent them walking away as free agents.
