Andrew Dallas highlighted the dangers of VAR last night at Easter Road as he trawled desperately to disallow Celtic’s second goal while ‘suggesting’ to Kevin Clancy that he downgrades the red card shown to Jake Doyle-Hayes.

At Ibrox there were more strange decisions, or teething issues as Celtic CEO Michael Nicholson described it at the AGM when Lawrence Shankland scored an early goal for Hearts.

Not so said the assistant referee on the Main Stand side of the ground despite three home players between Shankland and the goal-line when he found the net.

Willie Collum on VAR duty was able to give the correct verdict that Frank Connor on the line seemed to have missed.

Get used to it because that is the shape of things to come for next season.
A meaningless game to sevco nothing to gain in it for them but still the officials tried to help them out.

Get yourselves ready for an action replay from all those years ago in the final coming up next month with so called genuine mistakes such as last night stopping our TREBLE in its tracks.

Could believe it when Andy W**ker(suits him better) said it’s a tight call. To be fair he has spouted utter drivel in his commentary all season, why change now. Might be best if he reads up on the rules for off-side for next season or in fact learns all the rules of the game. Idiot.

I must say, I think the Hayes-Doig thingy was obscene. No attempt to win the ball. A Red-Card, Red-Card all day long!
