Neil McCann shares his wish that Ange ‘takes that call’

Neil McCann couldn’t bring himself to answer the question but apparently spoke out for the ‘rest of the country’.

Rather than concentrate on the quality of Celtic’s play, the increased standards that Ange Postecoglou has brought it seems like the issues at Spurs are much more comforting for BBC Scotland pundits.

Steven Thompson and Neil McCann shared a dressing room at Ibrox, sharing a studio with the state broadcaster they remain in the same mindset that stopping Celtic is the be all and end all of the Scottish game.

On Sportscene last night McCann could hardly contain his excitement over the prospect/hope/wish that Celtic are about to lose their manager.

ST: Do you see him staying at Celtic long term?

N McC: I think everybody else in the country is hoping that big Ange takes that call and disappears after the Cup Final next week.

McCann was asked his opinion, typically evasive he chose to share the thoughts of his linited circle of contacts.

The former Dundee boss has spent the last three years using BBC Scotland to angle for a job at Ibrox or Tynecastle without any success.
