Neil Lennon has ruled himself out of another stint in charge of Celtic, ‘not for now’ as he put it on a podcast tonight.

Twitter has been ablaze with speculation that Spurs are poised to make a move to install Ange Postecoglou as their new manager with Celtic fans trying desperately to work out what is going on at their club.

Speculation started with a report in The Evening Standard, the mass circulation freesheet available throughout London.

Sky Sports effectively ran with that story making their headlines with the search for Antonio Conte’s successor now into a third month.

This evening Neil Lennon was trending on Twitter but after two spells as caretaker that were converted to permanent deals under Peter Lawwell the Irishman is keeping a safe distance from any possible changes at Celtic.

Since resigning from Celtic in February 2021 Lennon has had one short stint in management in charge of Omonio Niciosia in Cyprus.
