Liel Abada has scored some of the most celebrated goals of Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic reign.

Barely a week after moving to Scotland the then teenage winger scored against Midtjylland in a Champions League qualifier as supporters were slowly allowed back into Celtic Park.

A full house roared when he left Borna Barisic for dead to put Celtic 3-0 up in last February’s pivotal derby that swept Postecoglou’s side into top spot in the SPFL Premiership, a position that they have retained to this day.

Abada doubled up on that last September in a 4-0 win but there won;t be any friendly faces on Saturday when the hoops go Behind Enemy Lines at Ibrox.

There won’t even be a token pocket of Celtic fans inside the stadium for the final Derby match of the season but as he told the Daily Mail that is a situation that the winger is looking to draw strength from:

For this game, there are no fans, so we need to do the job without them and be focused on doing the job.

In the games before, the atmosphere has been unbelievable but for this one the best noise will be silence. If it is quiet, we know we are doing well. We just have to do our job like we do every time.

After six weeks out of action Abada returned from injury in the title clincher against Hearts, coming off the bench in the second half.
