That can’t be allowed to happen- Barry Ferguson reveals his big fear

As he braces himself for another Celtic treble there are other figures going through Barry Ferguson’s mind.

At some stage this month Ange Postecoglou’s side will be crowned as champions of Scotland, the 53rd time that they have held that title.

Two batches on nine-in-a-row have contributed to that figure with the possibility of another strong run of success too painful for Ferguson to contemplate.

A few months ago I’d have held one hand up and said five. It’s the million dollar question. My opinion has changed since then, I’m afraid. It’s another hand in the air and it’s more like 10 new faces required in what’s going to be the biggest rebuild at the club for a very long time.

Celtic are the team on top, they have set the bar, it’s been total domination this season and Rangers need to chase them down.

There is a gap but it’s nowhere near as large as it’s been claimed and as for Celtic beating my old club to the 56 titles landmark?

That can’t be allowed to happen. No Rangers team should require extra motivation to win a league but that incentive alone makes it imperative the league flag is returned to Ibrox next season.

Michael Beale has already spoken about the size of the rebuild and admitted it’ll be the largest for years so that tells you what’s being planned and I’m genuinely excited by it.

Up until 2016 Celtic had only won the treble three times, unless Inverness Caley Thistle pull off the biggest cup shock of all time hoops fans will be celebrating a fifth treble in seven years at the start of June.

Winning this season’s SPFL crown will make it 11 title wins in 12 years, with Postecoglou continuing to raise the bar the hoops will be strong favourites for next season’s title before a ball is kicked.

like Celtic accepted the 10 never happened and moved on to start a new run at it,Ferguson is still not accepted his old club died which their past achievements then went into the history books, they can never have an honest clean slate to move forward with, what a mess of a club.

Looks like the Rangers have a massive problem before their newest revolution takes place ! Young Nico ‘Paris Pizza Break ‘ Raskin has declared he is only using the tribute act as an intermediate as he wants to play for a better club /clumpany ! It’s sad ,because you do wonder what kind of an organisation like them deserves such bad luck luck ? It’s almost as if they have broken the rules of the game and are suffering the consequences ,or something … Talk about bad Karma ,poor souls !

We all know that it’s way too much for a thick hun to understand football economics or the word “sustainability” which are very much in play for the scum currently.
So no surprise that yet another thick bluenosed hun eejit fails to understand that whatsoever.
10 extra players now, yet there still struggling to pay the overpaid shit that the scum already have?
Where is the money going to come from to fund a rebuild, yet more important to be able to keep it sustainable at the same time?
Yet to hear how it’s going to be possible and even moreso with so many rats leaving the sinking ship yet again.
Until the current wage bill is drastically reduced then little to no chance of the financial situation ever improving, yet the demand still wants to actually increase the current wage bill?
This has been in the making for years now and shall sit back and enjoy watching a proper house of loser cards falling to the ground yet again

Through the summer all you’ll hear about is “UEFA’s new Financial Sustainability Regulations”

The SMSM lackeys & Sevco will use it constantly to deflect from the FACT they don’t have enough money for #theirrebuild….

The club he played for no longer exists is there not one person in the media to remind him of that fact and any talk of titles is a nonsense.

  • Tenaka Khan says:

We WILL win the next 3 titles to reach 56 and however begrudgingly, the media will at that time have to acknowledge us as Scotland’s most successful club. But we fans and especially our club should never lose sight of the fact that on the way to 56 Celtic will actually be the first Scottish team to win 55 titles. When Celtic reach 54 titles we fans should bring irresistible pressure on the club to hashtag the following season as going for “the Real 55”. The club should then take note of any media outlet who react with hostility and cold shoulder the bastards.
