Thousands of Celtic fans were out in the bars of Santa Ponsa to watch their heroes clinch the SPFL Premiership title thanks to a 2-0 win over Hearts.

With just over 1,200 tickets available for visiting supporters the flights to Palma, Mallorca have been filling up with fans heading to the Celtic friendly resort.

The biggest show in town was down at The Square where around 400 gathered to watch the action on the giant screen outside of Celts Well.

An hour before kick-off the best seats were taken with pub staff working hard to meet the demands of thirsty holiday-makers.

Once Kyogo Furuhashi opened the scoring the party really got going with Oh Hyeon-gyu’s goal in the 80th minute putting the issue beyond doubt.

Fans of all ages stayed around to enjoy the scenes from Tynecastle as Celtic anthems replaced the commentary from Sky Sports.

With around 20 Celtic/Irish pubs around the resort business was brisk all days with the biggest crowds packing out Brennan’s and The Dubliner on Carrer de Ramon de Montcada.
