Throughout his teenage years Ross McCrorie was forever being told how wonderful he was, the blue-eyed boy of the Ibrox Tribute Act.
When Pedro Caixinha gave him his debut in a League Cup tie against Partick Thistle the praise was gushing.
His desperate manager claimed that he was the future of Scottish football, the greatest centre-half ever produced.
Within a month he had his first defeat from Celtic, later that season he was sent off at Hampden in a Scottish Cup semi-final, it has been downhill ever since. A fortnight later he was part of the Graeme Murty side that folded 5-0 at Celtic Park as another title party got under way.
Ross McCrorie shows Rangers allegiances as eagle-eyed fans spot what Aberdeen star did during Celtic guard of honour ?

A stint in League One on loan at Portsmouth was a reality check, on return he was sent to Aberdeen on loan with a £300,000 deal in place which over-valued his ability.
At the start of this season he watched Celtic unfurl the SPFL flag, today he didn’t even have the decency to clap the Champions onto the pitch in his farewell to Scottish football- without getting near a winners medal.
Bristol City are expected to be his next port of call, a loan spell to Hearts followed by a permanent move to Tynecastle seems inevitable for Young McCrorie.
Apparently Cuntwell is the new superstar over there and the sevco klan fan base can’t wait for him to experience a European night at ibrox under the lights, lol aye a bit like that European night last season when Liverpool ripped the arse from them at the BIGOT dome.
The klan are such an easy lot at forgiving, not.
Gotta love it though, the ol wanger crew-still ragin!!
One could lose track of the trophy count in the Celtic trophy room-all these doubles/trebles…
Football Scotland and Daily Record hun hacks log into their Follow Follow accounts to see what tiny crumbs of comfort they can find as they watch the Champions party
A Rangers reject didn’t clap the Champions and then got sent home after a 5-0 pumping is the best they could find
The Daily record “online” pointed out Mcrorie not applauding the (Scottish) champions on to the park. Why did they not condemn him for his embarrassing childish behaviour. Oh well that’s Scottish journalists for you when it comes to CELTIC they can’t bring themselves to tell the truth
If Aberdeen FC had demanded a pint of blood or a pound of flesh – physically – anyone could understand why MC Crorie was behaving like a pampered spoiled brat of a human being ! No ,all that was asked was a small token of acknowledgement towards Celtic becoming champions again from the Aberdeen players … Maybe it was the ‘again ‘ bit that stuck in his craw ?
Toss McTory another Jimmy Bell. Lived as a bigot and died as one.
What a waste of a life.
McCrorie should leave the animosity behind him, as Rangers did with him.
Lad needs to grow up.
