Celtic returned to winning ways with a 5-0 win over Aberdeen ahead of being presented with the SPFL Premiership trophy.

After a three match winless run Ange Postecoglou’s side looked more like their old selves as they swarmed around the visitors goal.

The Dons held out until the 27th minute but before the interval Kyogo Furuhashi had celebrated his 32nd and 33rd goals of the season.

When the SPFL’S top scorer went off injured early in the second half he was replaced by Oh Hyeon-gyu who scored a late double after Carl Starfelt had scored his first ever Celtic Park goal.

The midweek woes of Easter Road were quickly erased with attention turning to Hampden on Saturday and the opportunity to complete a fifth treble in seven seasons.

Callum McGregor has been central to everyone of those successes and is now just one match away from becoming a treble winning captain following in the footsteps of Billy McNeill, Tom Boyd/Paul Lambert and Scott Brown.
