Ange Postecoglou has three rivals for the Scottish Football Writers award as Manager of the Season- with one of the candidates less than four months in the job.

Since the start of the season half of the Premiership clubs have changed manager indicating how precarious a business they are involved in.

Stephen Robinson brings St Mirren to Celtic Park tomorrow with his side’s top six place earning the Irishman a place on the SFWA short-list.

Back in season 2017/18 Robinson led Motherwell to two cup final appearances but found himself up against a Celtic side getting a flavour for winning trebles.

Barry Robson has been in management for just 14 matches but has rescued a team beaten by Darvel then hammered by Hearts and Hibs to turn them into favourites for third place and the guaranteed of group stage European football next season.

Down in League One James McPake led Dunfermline back from relegation to a return to The Championship with just one defeat suffered on route.

Hibs, Ross County, St Mirren, Kilmarnock and Livingston are the other SPFL Premiership clubs that still have the manager that they started the season with.
