Barry Ferguson believes that Todd Cantwell is back to his £40m valuation.
Having signed the player for a token fee in January all that Micky Beale has to do is find that buyer and his club’s financial worries are over and done with.
With five new signings reporting for pre-season training at Murray Park excitement is at fever pitch for Ferguson who has been out of football for 17 months since being mutually consented by Alloa Athletic.

sevco might indeed be boosting their squad quality IF all their unwanted
loan players / freebies were coming from top tier CL teams like Man City,
RM, LFC, etc.
But, they’re unwanted players coming – typically – from average teams.
Cantwell couldn’t cut it at Norwich.
Lammers couldn’t cut it at Atalanta.
As it stands just now though:
all the Ibrox PR will heaping unrealistic expectations
and pressure on the shoulders of both these ‘star players’.
Doubt they’ll be able to cut it at Ibrox – over the full season. 🙂
A message to wee barry Ferguson “the rangers” lost 5 players not counting the ones on loan that are back at their respective clubs. Out of the 5 players lost 4 were 1st team regulars so when “the rangers” replace them and then sign more then and only then can you say they are a different team. wee barry Ferguson has mentioned a string of players vying for places now…..let me enlighten wee barry those players were already at the club.. and the 1st team regulars that left were keeping them…out…of the “the rangers” team
Wee Barry is mistaking excitement for being terrified. They can feel similar to begin with, until the nausea, sweating and feeling of doom kick in and overwhelm the optimism.
If Toddy boy was anything more than a prancing wannabe, any one of dozens of EFL clubs would have taken a punt on him long before now, they are always raking around looking for that ‘diamond in the rough’.
When they signed Cantwell, a Norwich fan of my acquaintance sniggered and intimated the lad was the definition of a ‘flash in the pan’.

I always thought Barry was a bit Dim, only now do I realise how Dim, I suppose he will get same offers as Morelos.
When players win trophies and perform consistently in competitive matches then you can look at a valuation.
Cantwell is currently worth the same as a Morelos pie.

Explain your stats on wee Todd Fae Norwich and how he compares to abada who played roughly the same amount of games, then scored when it mattered under pressure.
