Kyogo Furuhashi has returned to the Japanese international squad with no hint of expecting a summer transfer from Celtic.
The striker was signed by Ange Postecoglou in July 2021 and became the highest goalscorer under the now departed manager.
In any circumstances it would be expected other clubs would be showing interest in Kyogo, with the turmoil of managerial change it would be easy to jump to conclusions.
Kyogo says: “I was happy to win the treble this season, but it didn’t go well in the CL, so next season I want to work together with everyone to move in the right direction and try to win as many as possible”? https://t.co/Ip8RG0Eq2x

After missing out on Japan’s World Cup squad the Celtic striker will be keen to make an impression on Hajime Moriyasu during the Kirrin Cup. Japan play El Salvador on June 15 followed by Peru on June 20.
Celtic are scheduled to visit Portugal for a pre-season camp but their three Japanese international players could be spared that and meet up with their team-mates ahead of the two match trip to Japan which features matches against Yokohama F Marinos on July 19 and three days later when they face Gamba Osaka.
