One Spurs fan has launched a campaign of opposition to Ange Postecoglou becoming manager of his club.

Jumping the gun somewhat @ownthfc is anticipating that the Celtic boss will be offered the job and will then agree to take over at the eighth best team in England.

A club where their talisman, Harry Kane is running down his contract to leave as a free agent after Spurs blocked his proposed move to Manchester City and the chance to win his first trophy..

It seems that Spurs fans are in a league of their own when it comes to delusions, even rivals Arsenal have managed to take a trophy or two back to the Library, Spurs fans have to go back to the Glory Glory Days of Alan Hutton, Michael Dawson and Paul Robinson to recall a trophy success.

Since then they have developed into a feeder club for Real Madrid and Manchester City but still their fans can’t open their eyes to success outside of the EPL bubble.

When Leicester City, Nottingham Forest and Blackburn Rovers have been champions more recently that your own club it is maybe time to think about doing things differently.

One comment from the tweets that stands out is about Daniel Levy who seems about as popular as Mike Ashley was at Newcastle.

Whoever replaces serial winner Antonio Conte (except at Spurs) will be viewed as Levy’s mate, brought in to prop up an unpopular regime that has turned a football club into a profitable London business.

Hopefully Spurs fans get an EPL friendly manager like Brendan Rodgers, post Leicester the Irishman is in need of a club for his unending loyalty and devotion. Fortunately Brodge knows the city.
