‘This is the dumbest tweet I’ve ever read in my entire life’ ‘Will be meltdown lad’ ‘You’ve had a nightmare here’ Ibrox fan exposes key detail in Ange’s Celtic contract

One Ibrox fan has been slaughtered on Twitter after sharing his insight into Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic contract.

It is fairly well established that the hoops boss is on a 12-month rolling contract, a straightforward contract that has been standard for Celtic managers down the years. The key is the word rolling!

Every day in life there is 365 days left on the deal, if the manager leaves he has to pay out the next 12 months of his contract, if he is sacked he will pick up the salary that he was due over the next 365 days. Most parties seem happy.

In April 2017 Brendan Rodgers signed a four year Celtic contract, he left in February 2019 after Leicester agreed to pay the compensation stated on the deal.

Simples, or so you would think but one Ibrox fan believes that on June 1 Ange is out of contract and able to walk away without a penny of compensation for Celtic. Even his fellow supporters were urging DIGB to keep his stupidity to himself.

In November 2022 Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his backroom team had their contracts paid up in full, the remaining two and a half years left to run.
