On Tuesday night Allan McGregor waved good-bye to Ibrox for a second time, taking a lap of honour without a trophy in sight.

The veteran keeper did have one consolation as he bowed out and that was with another big EXCLUSIVE! From Jonny McFarlane.

Fittingly for a digital guru he revealed to The Rangers Review that his club would be the first in Scotland to ‘double bank their LED pitch-side advertising’.

It sounds very much like a idea from in-coming CEO James Bisgrove, the man that brought Castore school jumpers to the club, a variety of cryptocurrency deals as well as signing up to the 2022 Sydney Super Cup.

In the spirit of the fitbaw-hacks that e grew up idolising as they delivered moonbeams for Dave Murray, McFarlane explained how Ibrox would be using the same technology as the Etihad Stadium and San Siro as they deliver best in class messages to the Gullible & Deluded.

Ibrox certainly sounds the place to be in the season ahead with McFarlane sure to be breaking further big stories.

As well as being the brains behind The Rangers Review McFarlane is the Head of Digital Sport at Newsquest which covers The Herald, Glasgow Times and The Celtic Way.

Well. what can you say to that little nugget of advanced journalism from MC Farlane ? Here’s a guy who was pumped by the daily Record for Christ’s sake ! They could have moved him onto it’s sister paper – the daily Star ,(laughter acceptable) but no , he is so inept and embarrassingly incompetent at his job , the best thing for everyone concerned was to wash their hands completely of him as he masqueraded as a sports scoop ! Isn’t it re assuring to know guys like MC Farlane added greatly to the speed in which the printed press is becoming obsolete in this country ?
