Dujon Sterling has been discussing his delight at teaming up again with the coaching genius that is Micky Beale.

Last season Sterling was on loan at Stoke City, when his contract expired he was quickly snapped up to join this summer’s Ibrox Revolution.

Beale knows every footballer everywhere and has been following Sterling closely even though he left the Chelsea Academy in 2012 when the new Ibrox recruit was just 12-years-old.

Sterling has had hundreds of training sessions since then at Chelsea, Blackpool, Wigan and Stoke but after a week at Murray Park the old magic of Beale was shining through as he laid out the cones and handed bibs to the Ibrox stars.

Speaking to The Sun Sterling revealed:

Already on the pitch you can see his tactical brain is genius. I ain’t got nothing else, he’s just a genius. He goes into so much detail.

He has so many things rattling around in his brain, but you can see everything is specific.

He wants you to do this, he wants you to do that, but the way he explains it makes you think, ‘I have to do this, I have to do that’. You buy into it.

To be fair, over the years I’ve got on with all managers, so this isn’t any different. But I can just feel a special connection between us.

After four outstanding training sessions Sterling suffered a calf injury that meant he missed out on the trip to the state-of-the-art German training camp.

With Leon King suffering a significant ankle injury Leon Balogun has been signed to compete with Connor Goldson, John Souttar and Ben Davies for places in central defence.

You too could feel that special connection, with GRINDR. Download it now!

Well, it reads like an ad for soemthing like that ffs!

This desperate nonsense from the media, trying to convince themselves as much as the rest of the filth that no-trophies Beale is a genius, is so utterly pathetic I almost feel sorry for them….

    Almost.

Not really. Every one of the wasters can burn in Hell.

  • Captain Swing says:

The history of football is litered with unacknowledged tactical geniuses who were let down by crap players….

  • John Copeland says:

Remember back in the 60’s they discovered that President Kennedy’s brain was missing ? Well , now it’s the turn of the football coach … the manager’s brain is hissing … it’s leaking air ! A slow puncture …

    • the maister says:

I never heard that one before copers (about Kennedy). I’d never have believed anyway!

  • Bob (original) says:

    OK, “genius” p!ss-taking aside,

If you look objectively at Beale’s current position, it looks absolutely impossible.

    – a rookie manager entering his first full season at Ibrox
    – not won anything yet
    – also acting up as the Sporting Director
    – negligible funds to – try – and revamp a failed squad
    – with the previous Chairman, CEO, Sporting Director having left,
there is a lack of a senior ‘old head’ to provide support / advice
to Beale when things get tough
    – ALL the football and financial, [e.g..CL Group qualification], pressures sit on Beale’s
shoulders – directly and indirectly respectively.

As it stands just now, with freebies, injuries, etc.

IF Beale manages to get sevco into the CL Group Stage,

I will totally reassess my opinion of him as a mere BS talker,

and would then class him nearer to “genius” level.

His ragtag collection of football misfits ‘shouldn’t’ achieve anything – on paper anyway.

Beale will – very quickly – sink or swim this season, IMO.

    • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

The ‘genius’ in his and his clubs’ season may or may well not be Beale…

The genius’ (plural) for Sevco will certainly be the guys dressed in black and (perm every other colour bar green) – cheats with whistles who can and will subvert the laws of the game with impunity to suit an almost 11 year old club…

Also – They now have VAR in place which should of course seen a 100% end to the open season anti Celtic and pro Rangers decisions by the whistlers eradicated for good – instead it’s just got worse and worse and worse and all in plain sight as well…

And still our yellow custodians say nothing !
