Before Fraser Fletcher started digging a hole with the Scott Wright story there was one issue that was dominating Twitter on Tuesday. Jimmy Bell’s Gloryhole.

Stuttering Wilf on an Ibrox podcast had entered The Banter Years as he overdosed on cliches while discussing the Micky Beale Revolution.

With their post 2012 devotion to history Bell has become an iconic figure for Ibrox fans to drool over.

The Laundry Executive with a driving licence had hung around the Tribute Act while Ally McCoist, Lee McCulloch and Kirk Broadfoot had moved on to pay cheques from elsewhere.

While Wilf wandered down Staunch Avenue Robert couldn’t hold it together. At the bottom of the screen Dougal 79 remained virtually motionless, perhaps the comment had flown straight over his head.

Wilf stuttered on about Lammers and Sima but for Robert it was just too much as he realised that his podcast colleague was heading for 24 hours of internet infamy.
