Within the space of 24 hours the Gullible & Deluded have had their hopes of signing Danilo from Feyenoord seriously downgraded.

Following the classic tactic used against Scottish clubs news was being leaked about increased bids going in for the Brazilian striker..

On Thursday night the most loyal messengers were piling the pressure onto the Dutch club with tales that Danilo was desperate to move to Ibrox but the headlines halted just short of END MY ROTTERDAM HELL.

It seems that public negotiations haven’t impressed Feyenoord who have a valuation for the player and don’t want the fee paid up over six or more instalments.

Having skinned Ajax for £18m last summer for Calvin Bassey it is hardly surprising that Feyenoord are holding out for a realistic fee for someone that looks like he can play football.

Michael Beale’s big money move for Brazilian striker Danilo was in danger of collapsing last night after Feyenoord booted out the latest Ibrox bid.

Record Sport can reveal the Rotterdam club have rejected out of hand an improved offer worth around £5.2m with potential add ons for the 24-year-old and have become irritated with what they consider to be a series of ‘low ball’ approaches. On the contrary, Rangers believe they are more the matching the player’s market price and with relationships between the two clubs turning cold, may now turn their attention elsewhere unless the Dutch outfit lower their asking price.

The final instalment is likely to be about the Ibrox club not being held to ransom alongside tales of Danilo being left devastated at missing out on his dream move due to the greedy demands of Feyenoord. Slapping in a transfer request or going on strike are likely to be considered as options for the heart-broken striker.

Beale wasn’t quite at his chirper self yesterday when he was interviewed by Sky Sports.

Either the Bealy boy was bursting for a Robert E Lee or the cameraman was on the razzle until the wee , wee hours in that interview going by the serious bodily movement from the interviewee !

sevco could offer a pathetic amount for Cifuentes on the last day of the transfer window?

Hope LAFC hold out for the amount they want – and tell the Ibrox club where

    they can stick their £50K / £75K?

Cheeky move to get Cifuentes to sign a pre-contract – thinking that will pressure LAFC

to roll over, and let him leave now, to suit sevco.

If Beale can’t get this signing over the line this window, then it will be fun

to read what nonsense the SMSM will print as the excuse.

LAFC only paid c.£80K for Cifuentes, so you wouldn’t expect them to be looking

for silly money for this player – and whose contract expires in Deccember anyway?

  • Eldraco says:

Wee bit of substance abuse there.
