Providing further reassurance to the Gullible & Deluded Kenny Miller has explained to Daily Record readers that Celtic’s treble success last season was down to fine margins.

That phrase seems to be a comfort blanket in defiance of reality where clubs play football matches to decide those fine margins.

Over one match you may be exceptionally unlucky and lose out by a fine margin, when that happens you take it on the chin and ensure that you improve for the next contest- ensure that the fine margin goes your way.

When it doesn’t, when you are constantly losing out you have to concede that more than fine margins are involved.

With Todd Cantwell and Nico Raskin benefiting from world class training sessions you can’t really lose three times to your nearest rivals in three different competitions over a ten week stretch. In that case Miller’s lame excuses starts to wilt.

Unless you are a Daily Record reader in which case you nod in agreement with the wise one.

Over the last 15 months Miller has been a victim of fine margins in management at Falkirk and Huddesefield Town. With the new season about to get underway he’ll be sharing his wisdom with Radio Clyde, Sky Sports, Radio Scotland listeners to Go Radio as well as the Daily Record.
