Anthony Joseph doesn’t expect Luis Palma to become a Celtic player until Wednesday or Thursday.
That sort of timescale throws in doubt reports that Celtic are hoping to get upto five transfer deals completed this week.
If Palma isn’t signed until Wednesday or Thursday it is looking highly unlikely that there will be a raft of new faces in Brendan Rodgers’ side at Ibrox on Sunday.
UPDATE: Aris FC winger Luis Palma is due to arrive in Glasgow later this week to finalise a £3.5m move to Celtic.
It’s understood the player is still waiting on clearance to travel to the UK.
He should arrive on Wednesday or Thursday to complete his medical and paperwork. https://t.co/R4fOP7YMx4 pic.twitter.com/o5Qyf67m0e

As a Honduran national Palma will need a visa and work permit to join Celtic.
Stephen McGowan of the Daily Mail revealed Celtic’s interest in the ARIS Thessalonika winger late on the 23 of August with the clubs appearing to agree terms on the transfer fee and add-ons soon afterwards.
Although there are some issues with flights to the UK a medical could take place in Greece or elsewhere to speed up the process.
Brendan Rodgers isn’t expected to meet the media until Friday lunchtime which falls after the Champions League draw and before the Transfer Deadline and Sunday’s Glasgow Derby at Ibrox.
