Micky Beale has hit out at details of his conversations with Ianis Hagi getting out the building.
The Romanian superstar suffered a year out of action due to a knee injury but resumed playing in January, starting the Scottish Cup tie against Partick Thistle.
Last Saturday the Ibrox media team put Hagi up for interview following the League Cup win over Morton during which he said that his fitness was fine and that he was the only player to have taken part in every session of pre-season training.
Beale has signed Todd Cantwell, Nico Raskin, Kieran Dowell and Jose Cifuentes to push Hagi down the queue then put the boot in by dropping him from the Champions League squad to face PSV Eindhoven.
“It was a logical conversation that seems to have got out of the building.”

Having told the world about Hagi’s fitness issues there is virtually no chance of any club coming up with a fee for the midfielder with a famous surname. Putting him on media duty last Saturday wasn’t the smartest of moves.
Hahi is unlikely to want to stick around where a coach is undermining you to the media which points towards going out on loan on transfer deadline day.
Beale still finks that lots of clubs are bidding to sign Glen Kamara.
