Over the weekend a Museum was opened inside New Edmiston House, an exciting new digital venture according to new CEO James Bisgrove.

Housed inside the state-of-the-art multi-purpose venue John Greig opened the Museum which mainly focuses on the achievements of the club that went into liquidation in 2012 leaving 276 trade creditors out of pocket as well as thousands of fans holding worthless Debentures.

Excluding the Irn-Bru Petrofac Challenge Cup won by Mark Warburton’s side in 2016 only two trophies have reached Ibrox in the last 11 years but there is much to celebrate inside the Museum.

Taking pride of place is a wrestling belt donated by WWE star Drew McIntyre who is up there with Andy Cameron, Gordon Ramsey and Jim Davidson a celebrity fans of both clubs. McIntyre was born as Andrew McLean Galloway but decided to change his name, he is still the same person.

It is planned that some items from the hallowed Blue Room inside the Main Stand will go on show in the Museum at some stage although it is unlikely to include the St Etienne bike, The Loving Cup or the Al Kass Trophy won in 2019 by the elite u-17 squad.

The Arsenal shares certificate is currently ‘unavailable.

It looks like one of the windows from H&T Pawnbrokers in the town, with some props left over from an episode of Storage Wars.

Ah ,but there’s Gordon ‘i knew nothing ‘ Smith’ s first ever wig he wore in a glass case . Wee Baz Ferguson’s jock strap in there too ,(permission granted from his wife ) . Oh , and a signed copy of the daily Record by Keith Jackson ,all under lights in the dazzling Ibrox museum room ! Those alone will be worth any entry fee …..

The letter from ‘Hector’ at Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs formally rejecting the Company Voluntary Agreement in 2012 would be a tremendous article to get on display in there. Might destroy the ‘illusion’ of survival/continuity a bit though….

Sorry Joe, couldn’t finish reading this as laughing tears were obscuring my view.

What you bring to the Celtic FC faithful on here warrants a wee thank-you.
You’ve got my email address, so please just drop me a line and I’ll send you a wee token of gratitude. There would, of course, be no strings attached, just like the other sites.
I’ve always made a financial contribution (not huge) but showing gratitude and respect to the Tim sites I’ve visited regularly.
    HH, TicToc.
