Luis Palma faces a race against time to be involved in Celtic’s match against Dundee on Saturday.

Signed from ARIS Thessalonika in transfer deadline week he was an unused substitute at Ibrox as he got his first taste of Scottish football.

Scoring with a penalty in a 4-0 win for Honduras over Grenada will have helped his confidence but a 3.10 am Wednesday kick-off leaves him up against it to be involved against Dundee.

It looks like Wednesday/Thursday will be travelling time as he returns from Central America to London then connects to Glasgow.

Friday will be the only realistic training time for Palma at Lennoxtown, with Liel Abada pulling out of Israel’s international matches due to injury Brendan Rodgers will be looking for a replacement on the wing.

Yang Hyun-jun was an unused substitute as South Korea beat Saudi Arabia, with a 5.30 pm kick off UK time Yang and Oh Hyeun-gyu should be back in Glasgow on Wednesday, ready to report for training on Thursday and prepare to face Dundee on Saturday.

Bloody International Football – I used to love it once, a long long time ago, I used to love it once…

Now I bloody detest it –

The only highlight is reading on Celtic blogs that The Tartan Army did a pure fantastic job of booing and booing God save The Queen !

Well done to all ye lads n’ lassies in attendance for that effort folks !
