Fabrizio Romano believes that bidding for Matt O’Riley would have to start at £25m.

That is the fee that Celtic collected for Kieran Tierney and Jota with O’Riley firmly in the spotlight on the back of two outstanding Champions League appearances against Lazio and Atletico Madrid.

Six goals in the SPFL Premiership have established Celtic out in front of the pack but two assists for Kyogo Furuhashi against clubs from elite leagues is bound to have been picked up and noted elsewhere.

At the age of 22 and after a call up to the Danish national squad O’Riley is the exact profile of an emerging star with transfer specialist Romano flagging up the bidding criteria.

It will be painful to absorb but O’Riley is unlikely to be at Celtic next season, like Jota his outstanding form makes a transfer almost inevitable.

The big task for Celtic is to have a successor lined up, just two years ago O’Riley was fairly unknown, playing for MK Dons in League One after finding his ambitions had stalled at Fulham.

FFS, possibly the LAST thing I want to tread about is big £££££ signs attached to our top players. Any money coming in is NOT reinvested (not in the team anyway, just in some ‘black hole’) and wont be as long as those two baztards Lawwell and Desmond are running the show, and they are.

Celtic supporters want to see the best Celtic we can and we’re in a great position to ADD to what we’ve got and show the World that WE ARE CELTIC.

Fuck the money, fuck the suits. Players: just believe in yourselves, believe in Celtic and we’ll live the dream as very few of you will end up anywhere better than you are now!

We blew a great chance to beat a top team on Wednesday and if we keep losing our best players we wont even be able to compete.

Start at the AGM and drive the above perra baztards right out the door with all the rest of the PLC Board. They’re not Tims, they’re traitors

    Hail! Hail! The Glasgow Celtic.

Editor: Questions about ‘recruitment guru’ Mark Lawwell will be asked at the AGM.

Thanks for that Joe, it shows that SOMEONE is paying attention, if not to the main culprits.
However I’d just love to hear there was to be an inquisition into the Desmond/Lawwell era and to find out exactly how much they have leeched off the club (the supporters money) since they arrived and their modus operandi.
Once that was completed, in a bygone era, I’d tie those two baztards together, make them walk to Paris with peas in their shoes and then launch them from the top of La Tour Eiffel. No harm meant, you understand? 🙂

Aye the AGM will be interesting for sure…

They’ll just bat off any ‘awkward’ questions –

They have plenty credit in the bank to pat themselves in the back with – A world record treble – A Scottish Record Tutnover of £119.9 million – £72 million in bank cash reserves…

I see a helluva lot of bumming, bumming, bragging and boasting coming down the line in November !

Editor: There will be. They gloat and congratulate themselves for 364.5 days a year but for one our at the AGM a couple of telling questions get through such as in 2019 about Lawwell and the Five Way Agreement, in 2021 Bankier’s deep concern over referees and last year Nicholson quite relaxed over glass attack on Joe Hart at Ibrox.

Lawwell etc. rubbing their little trotters together when a player shows some promise. Just proves that Celtic are indeed a
    “Selling Club”.
The Kelly’s etc. are beginning to look like being a better option for Celtic right now.
    Lest we forget!
