It appears that Brendan Rodgers won’t be doing a specific media conference to preview tomorrow’s SPFL clash at home to Kilmarnock.

At 12 noon today Celtic released a two and a half minute video looking forward to the match that had been held back from Wednesday night.

All of the UEFA sponsors were on show on the backing board as the hoops boss delivered a couple of general answers about looking forward to the match and being better placed that for the Viaplay Cup tie at Rugby Park which ended in a 1-0 defeat.

Celtic TV may have another interview later today but there is no injury news with the main issue being Cameron Carter-Vickers reaction to his first appearance in seven weeks.

The former Spurs defender took a nasty kick to the forehead which resulted in a booking but from the 90 plus minutes on Wednesday there doesn’t appear to be any fresh injuries.

After difficult away trips to Livingston and Motherwell the hoops will be happy to be back at Celtic Park with the chance to go seven points clear of St Mirren who don’t play until Sunday.

The Mixed Zone put up by UEFA would have given media outlets player access following the defeat from Lazio.
