Chris Sutton didn’t miss the target when Todd Cantwell described Scotland’s leading football pundit as an attention seeker.

Sky Sports, BBC Five Live the Daily Mail and the Daily Record thinks that Sutton is deserving of some very lucrative contracts for sharing his views.

Meanwhile the all singing, all dancing Tik Tok star was ignored by English football in January, forcing him to move to the second best team in Glasgow after spending a season on the Norwich bench watching Kenny McLean in action.

For reasons best known to himself Cantwell decided to attack Sutton during a 105 minute podcast he did to try and raise his profile as his football career accelerates off the radar.

If the former Norwich star needs a reminder of the impact Sutton can have on a career he should get in touch with his former boss, Micky Beale.

The former Charlton youth flop tried to slag off Sutton’s playing ability- with every defeat Sutton waded in, finally even the Gullible & Deluded disowned the Brain Behind Gerrard.

If Cantwell’s doesn’t start producing some outstanding match winning performances he’ll find that it’s not just Sutton calling out his lack of achievements on the football pitch as he devotes his life to social media.

  • Bob (original) says:

Clement has his work cut out.

Cantwell is still – probably – sevco’s most talented outfield player,

but he has a weak, unfocused mentality.

…and, IMO, he wouldn’t get even close to a starting position in our team.

He should drop all the social media, shave his head, and just

    focus on his game.

    But, he’s not a teenager – he’s 25 – so, is too late already?
