Former Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner has launched his hat into the Ibrox managerial ring in another painful blow to suffering bears.

On the night that they took to slurping water from the lavvies in the San Pishwan Stadium in Seville Glasner was hoisting up the Europa League trophy handed to the German’s by Aaron Ramsey.

Now in a cruel twist of fate the German is looking for a blazer and brogues as successor to Micky Beale at the top of the marble staircase.
