Alarmed Graham Spiers turns Internet Bampot over worrying Ibrox report

For most of last week Graham Spiers was comforted by news of an operating profit in the 2023 Accounts from the Ibrox Tribute Act.

Everyone in the mainstream was in agreement, from all of the figures contained in the 30 page document the most significant was £252,000 which apparently means a second season of profit.

Not only was the Daily Record, BBC Scotland and the Glasgow Times passing on the good news but The Times had rubber stamped the significance of the operating profit.

Predictably Celtic fans were highlighting something off message like the £4.144m loss that was strangely overlooked by Greig Cameron, the Scottish Business Editor of The Times.

On Friday the true picture was analysed and highlighted by Swiss Ramble, an Internet Bampot that rarely gets involved in Scottish football but does so without needing to remain in the Ibrox news loop that other publishers cling onto.

Spiers and Roger Mitchell have acknowledged the figures, breakdown and analysis from Swiss Ramble, fortunately it seems that none of the mainstream publishers will go beyond the operating profit.

In just under six weeks the transfer window opens, at that stage loyal bears might discover the reality of the operating profit that they have been fed.
