Green Brigade sets the Record straight after TalkSPORT stunt
The Green Brigade has moved quickly to deny that one of their members spoke to TalkSPORT this morning on behalf of the Celtic Ultras group.
Throughout their existence the Green Brigade has never curried favour with mainstream outlets to promote themselves or to create personalities out of their members.
Providing content to outlets like TalkSPORT and the Daily Record is about as far from their principles as it is possible to get.
Anyone with any awareness of the background would have been questioning how credible ‘Jamie’ was as he appeared with Jim White and Simon Jordan to attack the Celtic support.
In a list of outlets to provide content for the radio station that pays White, Ally McCoist and Adrian Durham is probably close to the bottom.
With a media frenzy sparked by Celtic’s decision to withdraw Season Ticket access to 200 Green Brigade members publishers like the Record are desperate for new angles to portray Celtic fans in a bad light.
For the avoidance of doubt, no member of the Green Brigade, or North Curve Celtic, has or will speak to mainstream British press regarding the current situation.

Anyone looking for news from the Green Brigade knows the social media channels to follow, co-operating with the Daily Record or TalkSPORT is as likely as White and Jordan highlighting and discussing a Nazi flag at Ibrox on Armed Forces Day.
