Kyogo Furuhashi appears to be fit and well for Celtic’s match against Motherwell on Saturday.

The last sighting of the striker was when he was substituted at home to Aberdeen on November 12 after suffering what appeared to be a serious head injury.

After a few minutes of treatment on the pitch Kyogo looked groggy as he walked off with Oh Hyeon-gyu sent on as his replacement.

Nine minutes of stoppage time were added at the end of the second half, although Celtic won 6-0 the injury to their star striker was the main concern for hoops supporters after the match.

After the match Brendan Rodgers announced that Kyogo wouldn’t be going away with Japan on international duty, in a media conference yesterday no mention was made of the former Vissel Kobe striker.

This afternoon Celtic released some images from training at Lennoxtown, Kyogo appears to be fully involved with just the chill November weather to be concerned about.

Celtic have 12 matches to get through before the winter break kicks in, having Kyogo fully fit will be a big boost as they aim to consolidate on their eight point lead at the top of the SPFL Premiership.
